Enliven your space with the iconic off-roader – introducing the 2024 Mercedes-Benz G-Class calendar! To capture the breathtaking images, photographer Reuben Wu journeyed through Andalusia with 11 different vehicles from the legendary G-Class’s 44-year history.

With an impressive ability to detect unnoticed and hidden details, he has explored unknown terrain, placing 11 G-Class vehicles from the past four decades amid the spectacular Andalusian scenery.

Stone garden
El Torcal.
The El Torcal nature park in the province of Málaga seems to come from another world. The karst rock formations, formed millions of years ago, are among Europe’s most remarkable natural features and present an ever-changing series of mysterious perspectives. With its surreal rock formations, the park excites the imagination and is reminiscent of a scenic backdrop from a fantasy or science-fiction film.
It is an ideal setting to highlight equally spectacular vehicles such as the G 63 AMG 6x6 or the Mercedes-Maybach G 650 Landaulet.
A piece of Hollywood
Tabernas Desert.
In the southeast of Andalusia, a very special place extends over about 280 square kilometers: the Tabernas Desert. The bleak landscape is reminiscent of the Badlands of North America or the deserts of North Africa. There are no sand dunes, but the ancient seabed is home to plants not found anywhere else and deeply furrowed hillsides interspersed with sweet grass steppes.
The stunning flora and fauna have provided the backdrop for many action movies. The Tabernas Desert has been especially popular with directors as a stand-in for the Wild West. Reuben Wu uses the contrasting landscapes to create striking images of G-Class vehicles of yesterday and today. He also highlights the special features of the G 350 d Professional Line and the 280 GE that Jacky Ickx and Claude Brasseur drove to victory in the legendary Paris-Dakar Rally.
Light and darkness
Blended phenomena.
To create an incomparable interplay of light and shadow, Reuben schedules shoots exclusively at night at breathtaking locations off the beaten path. Using various models of our iconic off-roader, he is ideally equipped for off-road adventures in search of the perfect shots. A drone kitted out with a variety of lights hovers above the landscape to produce magical effects in the sky.
